Auditions & Classes

AUDITIONS

We hold open auditions for all of our shows. That means anyone in the right age group is eligible to audition!  

Children’s Theatre of Elgin (CTE) presents two musicals each year at the Hemmens Cultural Center. These shows are often based on fairy tales and children’s literature.  

Fox Valley Theatre Company (FVTC) produces a Broadway-type show every fall at ECC’s Blizzard Theater.  

The two troupes combine for a song-and-dance revue each summer at the Blizzard Theater.  Two troupes on two stages—for all ages! 

CLASSES

Children’s Theatre of Elgin offers specialized workshops and other classes to all interested children, typically in grades 2-8.  Watch for schedule updates on this site.
